Distinguished Alumni Award
Purpose
LCC International University grants the LCC Distinguished Alumni Award to honor an LCC graduate who has made a significant contribution in his or her field and who is recognized by his or her associates for outstanding achievement. Honoring outstanding graduates provides an important role model for existing students. Thus, LCC will encourage the recipient to spend a day on campus, appearing in classes, and interacting with current students.
The Award
The LCC Distinguished Alumni Award consists of a printed tribute and a commemorative piece designating the recipient and the date of the presentation. In most instances, LCC will present the award at the Spring Commencement. The university also invites the recipient to spend a day on campus speaking in classes and meeting with students and faculty.

To nomitate a person for this award, just complete the online form. Nominations are due no later than March 19th, 2010.
Being among the first Ukrainian LCC International University graduates to return to Ukraine, I questioned how my diploma and education would be received when I returned home. Most of the time employers asked of my work experience, skills, traits, etc. They admired my having studied in English and they highly respect western style of teaching. I know of other LCC graduates who returned to Ukraine, and they also have had no problems with the recognition of their LCC diploma. It is clearly of great value!
