Teacher Seminars

LCC hosts Professional Development Seminars for local public school English teachers from Klaipėda. Sample seminar topics include "Theory and Classroom Application," "Group Work," "Teaching the English Essay," and "Speaking Activities." At each seminar there is a "Networking" session when teachers have the opportunity to share information about current events for teachers and school, plan programs, and in general network among themselves as professionals.

Upcoming Seminar

Oxford University Press instructor and authors will be presenting workshops for teachers who teach young learners as well as teachers who teach English secondary schools.

LCC International University is proud to be a co-host of the Lithuanian Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language 13th international conference on our campus. This semester, instead of hosting our own seminar for teachers, all English teachers are invited a two day conference. Come and join teachers and professors from around Lithuania for a variety of seminars and workshops on topics ranging from linguistics to methodology to technology in the classroom. There will be something for everyone.
