Classes for Adult Beginners

Spring semester: January 23 - April 25, 2012*
*There will be no classes during the spring break from March 5 - March 9.

These general English courses are designed for adults with little or no knowledge of the language who want to start learning it or want to build upon existing skills. As well these courses will be good for those who can carry a simple dialogue in English; however, they lack additional words, have a hard time putting words into a sentence, etc.

During these English courses you will learn more than just grammar; emphasis will also be put on reading, writing and speaking. Classes meet twice a week for two academic hours and the course lasts 13 weeks.

CLASS SCHEDULE

Classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.30 PM till 7 PM OR from 7.15 PM to 8.45 PM depending on the group that you end up in based on your current language knowledge. Placement test will be held on January 17-19, 2012 from 5 PM to 6.30 PM.

Classes for High School Students

Courses for 10-12th grade students will help to review the topics students are working on in school, learn additional material and fill the gaps in their knowledge of the English language. Students will review fundamental skills and knowledge: reading, listening, writing and grammar. Classes will meet twice a week for two academic hours and last 13 weeks.
