15th Graduation Ceremony: Valdas Adamkus Gives His Address to the Graduates

This year's graduation at LCC International University was an even more special event - hundreds of guests gathered in Michealsen centras not only to congratulate the graduates, but also to hear an outstanding speech given by a distinguished speaker Valdas Adamkus, Former President of Republic of Lithuania.

On Saturday, May 1st, LCC waved good-bye to 105 more graduates who joined almost a 1000 graduates from the 14 previous years. This year's graduates come from a great variety of states - Lithuania (58), Belarus (17), Ukraine (14), Latvia (7), Russia (3), USA (2), Albania (1), Nigeria (1) and Moldova (1). All of them received numerous dedicatory prayers and speeches given by LCC President Dr. Kyle B. Usrey, LCC Chaplain Chris Hatton, LCC Counselor Ina Kamaitytė and, of course, an unforgettable and encouraging speech by President Adamkus.

Also, the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award was named during the graduation ceremony. This year's winner is Lorna Qesteri - Business Administration faculty member who has been teaching Micro and Macro Economics as well as Development Economics at LCC for a number of years.
