Debut in the Entrepreneurship Contest: LCC's Team Is Ready to Shine

The annual Entrepreneurship Competition Vilnius (ECV) will see the debut of the LCC International University team on March 3-6, 2010. LCC's international team will attempt to shine brightly during this prestigious business contest where the best business administration, economics and management students compete in diverse tasks.

According to LCC Career Center Director Margarita Pavlovič, this year the university was invited to join the competition, and it is a great opportunity to promote both the university and the individual participants of the contest. "Even including participation in a contest with reputation like this in one's CV is already a huge statement. Also, it is a great chance for LCC to demonstrate its academic strength, to make its name heard, to become an active and visible part of academic community", says the Career Center Director.

LCC will be represented by four second and third year students majoring in business administration who come from Lithuania, Ukraine and Albania - Tomas Rimkus, Anastasia Kryvulia, Oksana Nechyporuk and Aina Jonuzaj. They will have to simulate a business, but their most important task while participating in the contest in Vilnius is to deal with different business problems in an unexpected way though through adequate solutions.

Students will stay in Vilnius for three entire days and compete with teams from several other leading business schools in the region. Monetary as well as other material prizes will be awarded to the winners during the award ceremony at the end of the third day of the contest. In order to compete for the prizes - organizers of the competition say - teams will have to express theoretical knowledge, logical thinking and teamwork during the process of this infectious business simulation game!
