Leadership Development Program
The Leadership Development Program is open to all undergraduate students. The program uses a Fall Leadership Conference, seminars, service learning, application, critical analysis, discussion and an interactive leadership challenge to develop and train students for leadership. This program is a great way to develop leadership skills and life experience.
The leadership development program exists to empower, educate and train students for leadership through the development of integrity, vision, purpose and character. Leadership seminars are held approximately two times per month throughout each semester and are open to all students. In addition there are two different stages of certification that can be achieved and a leadership internship opportunity. The two stages of certification can be achieved over the course of 2 years.
Stage I: Expose
- Apply to the program and gain admission to a cohort (group)
- 8 workshops and notes
- 1 community service project with your cohort (minimum of 4 hours)
- 1 Leadership Challenge Experience
Stage II: Expand
- Apply to the program and gain leadership of a cohort (group)
- 8 workshops and notes
- Lead 1 community service project with your cohort
- Lead 1 activity at Leadership Challenge
- Complete the Leadership Development Capstone Project
