What is the ARC?

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is located in room 228 in DeFehr. The ARC is a place for students to receive help on writing assignments and extra seminars on writing from instructors and peer tutors. The ARC has access to wireless internet, group study space, three computer terminals with access to the LCC network, and resource books and worksheets to help with research writing.

What is “the BOX”?

The BOX is coatroom and mailroom. Open Monday – Friday from 8:00 – 20:00. Check your student file frequently for returned papers, mail, and package notifications.

What are the hours of the Michealsen cafeteria?

The Michealsen lobby is open to all students during operating hours (9:00 – 22:00). You may eat food (either your own or purchased from the cafeteria), meet with friends or study groups, study or relax at the tables and couches. The cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 – 17:00.

How do I know who is speaking in chapel?
What are the main computer lab hours?

The main computer lab and IT helpdesk are open Monday through Thursday 8:00 – 22:00, Friday 8:00 – 20:00, and weekends from 10:00 – 20:00.

Why would I speak to a counselor?

Students sometimes experience challenges that can hinder academic success or personal growth. Students may find the help of a trained counselor beneficial in meeting those challenges. Trained counselors at LCC are available by appointment to discuss any issues and help students find ways of dealing with the challenges they face. All counseling sessions are confidential. Where can I find faculty offices?

Faculty offices are located in the faculty wing of DeFehr center. English, Lithuanian language & culture, and Social Sciences departments are located on the first floor. Business Administration, Theology, and General studies departments are located on the second floor.

Do I qualify for financial aid?

You won’t know if you do not apply! The LCC Student Financial Services office serves students by assisting in the financial awards application process, awarding/packaging institutional and external programs of student assistance, and providing financial aid counseling. Also, SFS provides information on payments and fees, payment dates and provides counseling regarding payment options.

How do I get a fitness card?

All LCC students, staff and faculty are welcome to use the fitness center and main gym. Fitness center cards must be purchased in advance through the business office. Please stop at the fitness center desk to sign in prior to your workout.

Where can I get forms for academic leave, add/drop, confirmation letters, late arrival, or withdrawal requests, etc.?

When is the Balčiūnai library open?

Hours are: Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 22:00, Friday 8:00 - 18:00, Saturday 9:00 – 18:00. The library is closed on Sundays.

How do I get an LSP card?

How do I find out what is happening on campus?

Check your daily events e-mail sent to your LCC student email account. Or go to the oncampus events calendar.

How do I reserve a room for a meeting or event?

Reservations can be made through the Student Life administrative assistant (DeFehr 22).

Where is the student council office located?

Student council has office located in DeFehr center near Neufeld Auditorium. You can’t miss the glass wall that allows you to see what is happening in the student council office. Sign up for clubs, get assistance with LSP cards, ask questions, suggest ideas, find out about the yearbook, newspaper and photo exhibitions. Student council holds office hours at least one hour per day and has open staff meetings each week. Drop in and say hello.

Where are the Student Life offices located?

The Student Life offices are located in the Administrative wing of the DeFehr center and in Enns & Neumann Hall. To find individual staff member’s offices, click here. General questions and information regarding room reservations can be asked at the Student Life reception desk (DeFehr 22).
