LCC International University is looking for qualified English language teachers for three summer programs. Join us as we engage students in educational experiences, transforming the lives of young people as they learn to communicate and see how they can positively influence their societies. Our summer programs focus on learning English language learning while students also develop skills for building relationships and cross cultural understanding.

Summer Language Institute - Klaipėda, Lithuania

This is our flagship program which began 21 years ago. Three hundred youth from all across Eastern Europe will study English on our campus for three weeks. We offer classes from beginner to advanced levels; we also have skill focused classes (for example, Fiction Reading, Film, and Public Speaking). Teachers come for a one week orientation prior to classes. Join our experienced team and enjoy a high- tech teaching environment.

Program dates: July 9-27, 2012
Date for teachers: Arrival to Lithuania - July 2; Departure - July 28
Teachers volunteer their time and LCC provides housing in student resident hall on campus.

Summer Language Institute - Cherkassy, Ukraine

Our program in Ukraine focuses on attracting prospective students for LCC. We aim to provide supportive, academic, student centered English classes that prepare students for university study. Classes run for 2 weeks, 5 days a week and staff provide interactive activities after the lessons. A small student body of 40 students facilitates plenty of personal interaction with the students. We partner with local educational agencies for facilities and operations. We are looking for 4 experienced, flexible English teachers and 2 additional staff members to organize events and activities outside the classrooms who are willing to live locally in Cherkassy.

Teachers volunteer their time and LCC provides housing in furnished apartments.

Summer Language Institute - Shymkent, Kazakhstan

Launched in 2011, Shymkent is our newest program. In partnership with Senior English Center and the local Baptist church, we provide experienced English teachers for their 2 week summer program. Students are generally elementary or intermediate learners. Classes run for 2 weeks, 5 days a week and staff provide interactive activities after the lessons. We expect nearly 100 students to enroll this coming summer. The team would ideally be 4 experienced English teachers and 2 additional staff members to organize events and activities outside the classrooms. Cross cultural openness and flexibility are requirements for teachers and staff.

Date for teachers: Arrival to Kazakhstan - June 4; Departure - June 24
Teachers volunteer their time and LCC provides housing in furnished apartments.
