Student Information

Each student attends English classes for two academic hours twice a week for 13 weeks.

Learning a language is hard work. We are eager to see you succeed and we want you to attend class every session if possible. If you are planning to miss the next class, kindly inform your teacher before you leave. If you miss class 3 times, we will call you to invite you to return. If you cannot return, please inform us so that we can offer your seat to another person.

Text Books

Use the textbooks in the classroom, or purchase your own at the local bookstore; you may not take the LCC books home.

Official Certificates of Completion

Official certificates of completion will be given to students who attend at least 90% of the class sessions. When you finish a class, your certificate indicates your level as compared to the Common European Framework level.

English Language Institute students may use the LCC library, located on the 3rd floor.  Students will find current newspapers, magazines and videos. ELI students are eligible for a library card to check out books and videos.

LCC has a cafeteria on campus in Michealsen Centras. The cafeteria is open from 9:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. Students may purchase hot meals, salads, soups, chips, and drinks at reasonable prices.

Fitness Center

ELI students are welcome to use the fitness center in Michealsen Centras.

Pre-paid cards can be purchased from the Business Office during regular business hours. The cost for 1 visit is €1.50.
