Last night LCC invited local high-school students to the Community Multicultural Awareness Program (CMAP). CMAP first started eleven years ago in attempt to bridge the gap between predominately mono-cultural Lithuania and multicultural Europe. Through interactive activities, presentations and small group discussions, participants are challenged to confront stereotypes in their own lives and within Lithuania.
This semester seven LCC students will be leading local high-school students through a series of relevant global topics such as human rights, culture, and world issues. It is also fun to share tea and cookies with each other!
