Saltshaker Conference Once Again Brings Christian Youth Together
LCC International University hosted the Christian youth conference Saltshaker for the ninth year in a row. This year over 200 conference participants once again came from various Lithuania cities and village areas to Klaipėda for one common purpose: to grow in Christ. The event was held for four days - from December 29th, 2011, to January 2nd, 2012.

First time in LCC history: December Graduation
Students completing their requirements for graduation from LCC International University in the fall semester have often had to miss the experience of participating in commencement exercises in the spring. But this year, on Sunday, December 11, LCC for the first time held a December graduation.

LCC Students Tie for First Place in Global Business Simulation Competition
LCC International University students for the first time in LCC history have ranked the highest in the international GLO-BUS business simulation competition. This time John McQuaig's Business Strategy Simulation students have gone even further - they have hit the record and ranked 1st place among 1841 other teams worldwide! The team members are Paulius Grigaitis, Artūras Grimalis, Elsi Hametaj, Dainius Šilingas, and Mantas Baranauskas.

LCC Opens Christmas Season With Fair And Traditional Pageant
LCC International University began the festive Christmas season with a traditional Nativity pageant on Friday, December 2. A new feature to the event this year was a Christmas Fair with the theme „At the Christmas Table" in the Michaelsen Center lobby before the program.

Come Back: Award Winning Lecture Series Returns to LCC
The award winning January Series of Calvin College is coming to Lithuania for a second year in a row. From January 4 through January 24, 2012, LCC International University will be one of 34 remote webcast locations and the only site in Europe to broadcast one of the United States' leading lecture and cultural arts series.

Entrepreneurship Conference at LCC: Words of Encouragement to Future Businesspeople
LCC International University joined a number of institutions all across the globe in celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week throughout November 14-20. Due to that occasion LCC organized the Entrepreneurship Conference entitled "Empower. Inspire. Engage" that was attended by several hundred university, college and high school students as well as people who are considering starting a business.

Global Leadership Summit 2011 Attracted Five Hundred Participants
Five hundred leaders from across Lithuania gathered on November 11-12, 2011 for the Global Leadership Summit in Klaipėda on the campus of LCC International University. Nine different speakers inspired, challenged and taught about social responsibility, leadership and character development. The conference is designed to empower leaders in churches and Christian organizations, and many of the groups came from a variety of religious organizations and church denominations.

LCC Students Reach the Finals of Prestigious Competition
LCC International University is happy to announce that senior students Robertas Kurakovas and Denis Kotov have reached the finals stage of the Challenge: Future Global Youth Competition 2011/12! The team, called "Free Radicals," will further compete for the EUR 20,000 Grand Award and for the opportunity to participate at the Challenge: Future Academy and Summit that will take place in Slovenia in March 2012.

Concert of Polish Christian Band: A Relaxing Break Before The Last Day of Midterms
Midterm exam week is one of the busiest times of the year for the community of LCC International University. However, many students and faculty found time to pull away from their books and exams to worship God together with LCC's chapel band and Polish rock band "Exodus 15" in Neufeld Auditorium on Thursday, October 27th.
